A cold front moved through last night and is sitting just offshore. Cooler air will filter in later this morning and this afternoon. Winds will be breezy and and because much drier air is moving in, there is a fire danger today and you should limit outdoor burning as fires could get out of control quickly. Winds will die down tonight and temps will drop into the 30s away from the coast and to near 40 at the beach. The cool air mass sticks around through next week and we’ll stay dry as high pressure largely stays in control. Afternoon highs will be seasonable in the 60s each day through Thursday but overnight lows will be cool. Frost is possible each morning as temps hover just above freezing, but will become more likely Tuesday or Wednesday morning as moisture slowly returns.
Today: Partly cloudy. Highs 64 inland, 62 beaches.
Tonight: Mostly clear and cold. Lows 36 inland, 40 beaches.
Sunday: Mostly sunny and cool. Highs near 60.
