Moisture is lingering across the Carolinas as the big weekend storm system moves away. It will stay cloudy tonight with patchy drizzle, and even a few flurries. No accumulation is expected, and although low temperatures will be in the low 30s, no road problems are expected, as ground temperatures remain in the 40s. Skies will clear quickly early tomorrow morning, and we will see plenty of sunshine tomorrow and Wednesday. It will still be cool with high temperatures in the 50s. We will warm late in the week ahead of the next storm system. High temperatures will be in the 60s Thursday through the weekend. Clouds will increase Thursday with rain moving in for Friday. Showers will linger into Saturday, then sun returns Sunday. Colder weather will return to start next week.
