Drier air will continue to filter in overnight, temperatures will be cool overnight and mild on Sunday. The low pressure system that brought the excessive rainfall will continue to pull away to the northeast. Dry and mild air is expected in the wake of this system before a colder high pressure builds in Monday night. The high pressure will really take over Tuesday and Wednesday with dry conditions continuing and slightly cooler air with highs in the mid to upper 50s both days.
Our next storm system is quick to move in with another area of low pressure moving up from the southwest Thursday. This system will bring another round of rain Thursday and Friday with cooler air building in for the weekend. Details on how much rain could fall will be worked out this week, but regardless, any rain that does fall will likely only exacerbate any ongoing flooding with such saturated grounds.
