Cold weather will continue through the middle of the week. Temperatures will drop into the 30s tonight with a weak storm system passing by early in the morning. Light rain showers will start after 3am, and could mix with or change to snow showers near dawn in the Pee Dee. No accumulation is expected. Drier air will move in tomorrow with sunshine returning. A freeze watch is in effect for tomorrow night as temperatures are expected to fall into the 20s and low 30s. Sunshine Wednesday, but high temperatures will not make it out of the 40s. Another cold night Wednesday night before we start to warm up on Thursday. Temperatures will be back to normal on Friday, and we will see 70s over the weekend. Scattered thunderstorms are possible Sunday with a cold front, bringing a small cool down for next week.
