Arctic air sticks around for one more night with morning lows in the low to mid 20s. Wind chills will again be in the teens to start the day Tuesday. Sunshine and a more easterly wind will warm temperatures up back into the mid 40s. We stay dry though as high pressure stays in control as it moves offshore.
Clouds will move back in Wednesday and southerly winds will lead to a big time warm up. Highs both Wednesday and Thursday will climb into the mid 60s ahead of our next cold front. Rain chances increase Wednesday night and Thursday as that cold front approaches.
The front will push offshore Thursday night and cooler air will once again invaid the Carolinas. The cold air will not be as cold as the current arctic outbreak, but will still bring below average temps for next weekend.
Tonight: Clear skies, wind chills in the teens. Lows 19-23 inland, 23-24 beaches.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny and cold. Highs 44 inland, 46 beaches.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and warmer. Highs in the mid 60s.
