We start the third full week of August quiet. The only system with even a slight potential for development is moving further away from the Carolinas. The low that brought us a wet weekend is moving up the US coast to the NE and only has a 10% potential for tropical development. It is already far away from our coast and it will continue to move further away for the rest of the week. The rest of the tropics remains quiet.
