Tropical Storm Beryl is a very small storm in the southern Atlantic that formed Thursday morning. Currently, Beryl is located about 1300 miles ESE of the Lesser Antilles. While Beryl could strengthen over the coming days, possibly into a hurricane by Saturday morning, it poses no threat to the Carolinas. The storm is currently in an environment where we could see fluctuations up and down in intensity. As Beryl moves towards the Lesser Antilles, the atmosphere will become less conducive for strengthening and could weaken the storm entirely.
The StormTracker13 team will keep an eye on this storm over the coming days.
