River levels are slowly falling

MONDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE:

SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE:

There are still a few rivers that are at major flood stage, however, all rivers have crested and continue on a slow fall. 

SATURDAY MORNING UPDATE:

The Waccamaw River in Conway continues to slowly fall. As of this morning, river levels were at 20.5ft and will only fall to 20.0ft by this evening. The Waccamaw River in Conway is expected to stay above major stage through Wednesday but falling to 17.2ft. 

Most other rivers are now in Moderate or Minor flood stage and will continue to slowly fall through the week.

The Lumber River in Lumberton is now below major stage at 17.1ft and will go to minor flood stage at 13.3ft by Sunday morning. 

The Waccamaw River is expected to crest today at record levels. The River as of this morning was at 21.14ft and will rise to 21.7ft this afternoon. The Intracoastal Waterway was at 21ft this morning and will rise to 23ft this afternoon.
