The National Hurricane Center has increased the potential for tropical development for the low off the coast of the Carolinas. A tropical depression is likely to form and hang out off the coast throughout the weekend before pushing to the northeast early next week.

We have our first hurricane of the 2018 season. Hurricane Beryl is forecasted to intensify throughout today before it moves into a dryer/higher shear environment closer to the Lesser Antilles. It’s forecasted to weaken throughout the weekend.
