The Grand Strand Humane Society’s “Walk for Animals” will be held in The Market Common.
The “Walk for Animals” will be from noon until 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28 at Valor Park in The Market Common, GSHS Executive Director Jess Wnuk says in a press release. “There will be a parade for owners to participate in with their pets beginning at 1 p.m. and walking through the shops at The Market Common.”
“It is $10 to register for the walk. We will also have fun contests beginning at 2 p.m. that are sure to make everyone smile,” Wnuk also says. “Throughout the day attendees can browse through our wonderful vendors, enjoy delicious food, bid on our awesome raffle prizes, take part in the great activities in our Kids Corner and more.”
“GSHS is the open – admission animal shelter for the city of Myrtle Beach taking in over 2200 animals each year,” added Wnuk.
