MYRTLE BEACH, SC – The Children’s Recovery Center of Horry and Georgetown Counties will host its 4th Annual Trivia Night fundraiser on Friday, April 13, at 8 p.m. It will be held at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Murrells Inlet. It’s $20 a person or $150 for a team of eight. All proceeds go to help physically and sexually abused children on the Grand Strand.
The center offers child advocacy center programs in the Myrtle Beach area. It’s a nonprofit organization. The center provides forensic interviews, medical examinations and caring advocacy for children suspected of having suffered sexual abuse. The goal is to keep trauma to a minimum and avoid re-victimizing the child during the process of discovery.
