Socastee – The Socastee Braves jumped out of the gates early in 2017 going 4-1 with a high flying offense, but their defense struggled down the stretch and the team ended up finishing 5-6 overall. Head coach Doug Illing is back and returns only 10 starters, but will have Kenny Solomon back as a big weapon and play maker on offense.
