Ohio man has the last perfect NCAA bracket

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Not only does a man from Columbus have the last remaining perfect NCAA tournament bracket, he also has the record for the longest streak of correct picks.

According to NCAA.com, Gregg Nigl has correctly picked all 48 games so far of the 2019 NCAA tournament.

This means of all the tens of millions of brackets submitted and tracked on NCAA.com, ESPN, CBS, Yahoo, Fox, and Sports Illustrated, his was the last remaining perfect one.

Not only has correctly picked all 48 games, he shattered the previous recorded best of 39 games set in 2017, according to NCAA.com

During an interview with the Today Show, Nigl, a neuropsychologist, says he got his picks correct by “…watching a lot of Big 10 basketball…and a lot of luck.”

The odds of Nigl picking all the games correct at this point? About 1 in 281,474,976,710,656, according to NCAA.com
