New Orleans, LA (WBTW) — With the completion of the Sun Belt Conference regular season, the Sun Belt Office has released the upcoming bracket of the Sun Belt Championship.

Coastal Carolina will enter the Championship as the sixth seed and will begin play Thursday, March 14 in New Orleans.

The championship will begin with two campus site games Tuesday March 12. South Alabama, the eighth seed will host ninth-seed Arkansas State in game one and seventh seed Louisiana Monroe will host 10thseed Appalachian State in game two.


The winners of those games will then travel to New Orleans to join the top six seeds for the final four days of the Championship.

Thursday’s games will see Louisiana, the fifth seed, facing the winner of game one at 5 p.m. The Chanticleers will then face the winner of game two (ULM/Appalachian State) at 7:30 p.m. (CT).

The winners of those games will then move into Friday’s quarterfinal round to face fourth seed Texas State or third seed Georgia Southern.

Georgia State enters the Championship as the top seed with Texas Arlington being the second seed. Those two teams received a bye and will not play until the semifinal round on Saturday, March 16.
