New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram might be in Atlanta for the Big Game, but he doesn’t seem to care about the matchup very much.
In an exclusive interview after meeting with local children through a partnership with McDonald’s, Ingram admitted he and his teammates are still frustrated over the no-call that marred the NFC Championship Game between the Saints and the Los Angeles Rams.
“We just disappointed we ain’t getting to play for the championship,” said Ingrams. “Everybody saw [the missed call by the referees.] It is what it is.”
Ingram was asked about the matchup between the Rams and Patriots. His response was blunt, to say the least.
“I don’t really care about the game at all,” admitted Ingram. “It’ll be a good game. You got two good offenses. Bill Bellichick, Tom Brady, they’re a dynasty. You got a young team in the Rams. It’ll be a good one.”
Although he doesn’t seem to have much interest in the game, Ingram said he’s “most definitely” rooting for the New England Patriots.
