To get the Atlanta community involved in Super Bowl 53, The League featured its NFL Play 60 kids day as part of the Super Bowl Experience inside the Georgia World Congress Center.
It’s part of the NFLs initiative to encourage their young fans to be active for at least 60 minutes each day.
More than 2,000 area kids took part in the activities along with several NFL players, mascots and coaches.
Along with the skills competitions, the kids were also treated to a performance by JD McCrary, the voice of young Simba in the upcoming live-action remake of the Lion King.
“It was amazing, I felt like I was up there with the stars and all the football people, it was amazing. It felt great just being hosts with really big names. The Super Bowl is a really big event for everyone worldwide. People fly out from different countries to see the super bowl. It just feels amazing, I feel very blessed and God has given me the talent and I’ve used it and now we’re here at the Super Bowl.” JD McCrary, voice of young Simba in upcoming Lion King
