Durham, N.C. (WBTW) — The Scotland High School Scots lost in the North Carolina 4A state championship game in back-to-back seasons as they fell to East Forsyth 35-28 on Saturday night.

The Scots took an early 7-0 lead and took a 28-21 lead early in the fourth quarter before giving up two quick touchdowns. The Scots finish their season 9-6. Expect a third trip coming in 2019 as Coach Bailey had only nine seniors on this years team and expects a majority of his key contributors to return next season.
