Columbia, S.C. (WBTW) — The South Carolina Football Coaches Association will honor 25 players and 10 coaches as their annual Palmetto Champions All-Star Football All-Star Team. Due to weather conditions from Hurricane Florence, the annual banquet was cancelled.
From the list of honorees, several overall awards sponsored by Reeder & Associates, were announced including:
· Specialist Player of the Year: Michael Hayes, West Florence High School
· Lineman of the Year: Zacch Pickens, T. L. Hanna High School
· Back of the Year: Ailym Ford, West Florence High School
· Coach of the Year: Victor Floyd, Chester High School
