Columbia, SC (WBTW) – A pair of Pee Dee schools competed for state titles today in football in the SCISA state championships in Columbia. In 2A, Florence Christian routed John Paul II, 55-6 to win their 2nd title in the last 6 seasons, dating back to 2013. Pee Dee Academy competed in 1A making a return trip to Columbia, but the Golden Eagle fell in heartbreaking fashion to Thomas Heyward Academy, 35-31.
