MURRELLS INLET – Our final Grand Strand Blitz player of the week comes to us from St. James High School. Senior running back Malachi Butler turned in a great performance in their 55-8 win over Socastee. Butler ran for 173 yards and 2 scores in his final game as a Shark. The team finished the year 5-5 and just missed the postseason. The 5 wins were the most since they won 7 in 2015.
