ATLANTA (NEXSTAR) — Buffalo Wild Wings is promising to give free wings to “everyone in America,” depending on the outcome of the Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots will face the Los Angeles Ram’s at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday. It’s the third straight Super Bowl appearance for the Patriots, and their 11th Super Bowl overall.
“If this final game goes into extra time, everyone in America will win free snack-sized wings on February 18 from 4-7 p.m. local time,” Buffalo Wild Wings said in a press release.
The chain says its “overtime button” has been working all year. There were reportedly more ties and overtimes during the 2018 season than in all of NFL history.
Business Insider reports Super Bowl Sunday is one of the chain’s busiest days of the year. Last year, they sold more than 14 million traditional and boneless wings on Super Bowl Sunday.
