INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We are more than halfway through the NFL season and will be heading back to the Super Bowl this year to bring you great coverage at Super Bowl LIII.

This year the Big Game is in Atlanta and every Thursday leading up to the Super Bowl, we will discuss all the hot topics buzzing around the NFL and Super Bowl LIII.

Each week, former players, coaches and individuals connected to the Big Game down in Atlanta will join Anthony “AC” Calhoun to discuss what is going on around the league on Big Game Bound.

This week, AC is joined by NFL Hall of Fame Coach and NBC analyst Tony Dungy, who spoke to AC from his home in Tampa.

Teams to watch in the AFC

Dungy said the Kansas City Chiefs are a current favorite in the AFC, saying he reminds them of his old teams.

“They don’t have a great defense but it reminds me of a lot of our Indianapolis teams,” Dungy said. “They’re opportunistic, they can rush the passer and they have this dynamic offense.”

Dungy also cited the New England Patriots as a favorite. Dungy called the Los Angeles Chargers another team that should be looked at.

Teams to watch in the NFC

Dungy, a self-proclaimed fan of defense, says the Minnesota Vikings are a standout team in the NFC, saying their defense is starting to hit their stride.

“Keep an eye on the Vikings,” Dungy said. “That’s the best defense in the NFC.”

Dungy also pointed to the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints as teams to keep an eye on.

Dungy’s Super Bowl prediction

As of week 10, Dungy believes Super Bowl LIII will be a matchup of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Los Angeles rams.

“I think it’ll be those two and a big time shootout in the game,” Dungy said.
