CONWAY – G.K. Young hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 13th to lead Coastal Carolina past West Virginia 4-3 Friday.
Young went 3-for-6 on the night with an RBI and two runs scored.
The game was a pitcher’s duel for most of the day. Alex Cunningham struck out seven in eight innings for Coastal Carolina. Ross Vance struck out eight in 8 2/3 for West Virginia.
