CONWAY, SOUTH CAROLINA (WBTW): While many voice pull the youth of today in many different directions 12 year old Durham Cribb brings them all together to laughs and smiles at the Theatre of The Republic in Conway.

“I used to reenact scenes from movies like Indiana Jones with the rock rolling or Jurassic Park when the dinosaur comes or even Jaws when the boat gets attacked,” Durham said.

He now lends his voice to a higher register playing the part of Pinocchio in the production of Shrek Jr. The Musical.

“I don’t have a high pitched voice,” Durham said in his normal low tone.

What is in a voice when you can do so many. The young man with the big personality features Kermit the Frog, Elmo and even The King himself Elvis.

The musical opens this weekend with a trio of performances at the location in Conway.  There will be a show Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.and then a matinee on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.  Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for children.
