Yankee Candle Company issued a voluntary recall on Thursday, December 8, for one of their candle collections due to a laceration hazard.
Candles from the Luminous Candle Collection are affected by the recall. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, when the candle is lit, the glass can crack. The $35 square glass candles contain scented wax with three wicks.Luminous Collection fragrances

After receiving 16 reports of the glass jar cracking, the company is issuing a refund to anyone who purchased the recalled candles.
No injuries have been reported.
