What appeared to be a minor crash on US 17 Bypass about a half-mile north of SC 707 and Farrow Parkway caused massive traffic delays on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened around 1:30 pm and involved a mini-van and a small car in northbound lanes. The small car appeared to have t-boned the minivan, but there was only minor damage to each vehicle.
The crash mostly affected northbound lanes of the Bypass with traffic backed up about a half mile. An ambulance responded to the scene, but no one was transported.
By 2:10 pm, the scene was cleared, but the traffic remained.
