(CBS Newspath) – Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduce their new baby boy to the world today.

“It’s only been two days we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy,” Prince Harry said.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex showed him off at Windsor Castle, bucking the traditional royal reveal outside St. Mary’s Hospital in London.

“It’ll be nice to introduce him to more family. my mom’s with us as well,” Meghan said.

The Baby of Sussex was born Monday morning at 5:26 a.m., weighing in at seven pounds, three ounces.

“I have the two best guys in the world so I’m really happy,” added Meghan.

Royal reporter Roya Nikkah says this royal baby was always going to be unlike any other.

“We now have the first British American prince born into the royal family, that’s a landmark moment,” said Nikkah. “I suppose it shows how – it reflects how international and diverse we are as a society.”

The newborn is seventh in line to the throne, but he won’t be called his royal highness after titles were limited around a century ago.

The family of three will live in Windsor, where Harry and Meghan moved just weeks ago. They’ll live at Frogmore Cottage on the grounds of Windsor Castle where they were married last May.
