MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Terri DeCenzo and Marjorie Thompson joined News13 NOW at 9 a.m. on Monday to talk about the Women’s Leadership Conference and Celebration of Inspiring Women. The conference and the celebration are two closely linked events held in conjunction with each other at Coastal Carolina University on Feb. 10 & 11, 2016.
The conference and celebration are a byproduct of Women in Philanthropy and Leadership (WIPL) for Coastal Carolina University. DeCenzo is the Executive Director of WIPL, the wife of CCU President David DeCenzo, and the co-chair of the conference. Thompson is also a co-chair of the conference, and she works as the Director for Philanthropy at CCU.
The conversation on Monday morning covered the pre-conference workshops focused on entrepreneurship on Wednesday; the day-long conference filled with sessions from women leaders; also the celebration that follows the conference on Thursday.
