ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – A St. Pete man is accused of a disturbing crime.
Police say on Nov. 20, a Shore Acres woman woke up to find Jasper Firoenza, 24, standing at the foot of her bed.
The woman yelled at Fiorenza to get out of her house.
Fiorenza hid at the end of her bed, not moving and petting the woman’s cat.
The woman yelled at him Fiorenza, telling him to get out of her house, according to an arrest affidavit.
Fiorenza then stood up and said, “Hey” and then began to walk out of the home as he was chased by the woman.
Fiorenza was later identified by a fingerprint he left on the woman’s bedroom door frame.
Undercover detectives followed Fiorenza on Nov. 30. They say he went back onto the woman’s property at 3:30 a.m. Detectives say Fiorenza had no reason why he would be in the residence and said he must have been drunk.
Detective arrested Fiorenza on Nov. 30 and charged him with felony burglary of an occupied dwelling and resisting an officer. He is being held at the Pinellas County Jail on $20,500 bond.
