MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Myrtle Beach police arrested a woman after they say she stole cooking wine and passed out inside a grocery store bathroom.
According to a police report, officers were called to the Food Lion on South Kings Highway Sunday and found 57-year-old Mary Elizabeth Wood laying in the handicapped stall on the bathroom floor in her own feces.
Police said she stole two bottles of cooking wine, bananas and a Gatorade.
When officers escorted her from the store, she made several obscene comments while nearly 20 people were close by, the report stated.
Wood was charged with public intoxication, shoplifting, and disorderly conduct.
