GEORGETOWN, S.C. — Authorities from two counties are searching for information on the death of a 48-year-old woman.
On Saturday, July 23, Georgetown County Sheriff’s deputies arrived to Pea House Landing shortly after 12:30 p.m. and found the body of Shannon Denis Taylor, 48, of Andrews, near the boat ramp. Taylor’s cause of death is still pending.
Investigators have not located Taylor’s vehicle since her body was discovered at the landing. Now both Williamsburg and Georgetown County deputies are searching for it.
The car is described as a 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser with SC handicap licence plate 44338W. The car was last seen in Andrews on Friday, July 22 at around 10 a.m.
