Robeson County deputies are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred just after 8 a.m. Sunday.
Robeson County Sheriff Ken Sealey said the incident happened on Old Tower Road, just outside Lumberton. Deputies initially thought the case was a car accident but then found that the victim had been shot.
Sheriff Sealey said the victim is a woman and that deputies are still investigating the case.
