GARDEN CITY, SC (WBTW)- Horry County officials say a Kentucky woman died after being pulled from the ocean in Garden City Sunday morning.
Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard identifies the victim as 52-year-old Laurie Davison. Williard says she was pronounced dead at Waccamaw Hospital around 10:12 am.
The cause of her death was asphyxiation due to drowning, according to Willard.
