DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) – The South Carolina Highway Patrol reports one person died in a single-car crash Saturday night in Hartsville.
Sobie Soles Dixon, 53 of Hartsville died at the scene, according to Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee.
It happened on Lakeview Boulevard. Troopers say Dixon was driving a 2013 GMC SUV north on Lakeview when she drifted towards the right side of the road, lost control, and ended up flipped over several times on the left side of the road.
Troopers say she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Hardee said Dixon was a pillar of the community and involved with Agape Hospice Group. Hardee said he and the victim were friends.
