A woman has been charged with attempted murder and is accused of firing shots at another woman in Andrews.

Lasha Ford, 30, is charged with attempted murder, according to Georgetown County Detention Center booking records. Ford was booked into the center around 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday. No bail has been set as of 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

According to Andrews police, officers were called to Beach and Main Streets on January 26 in reference to shots fired. Officers found the victim, who reportedly told officers she and Ford didn’t get along.

The victim was reportedly traveling west on Main Street in a car, while Ford was traveling east in a separate car, police said. The women allegedly exchanged “a middle finger” as they passed. The victim also reportedly told police that Ford pointed a handgun at her while driving and fired two shots. The victim was not hit.
