Woman charged in Myrtle Beach hit-and-run; pedestrian remains in critical condition

A woman is charged in a hit-and-run that happened in Myrtle Beach Friday.

Cpl. Thomas Vest with Myrtle Beach police, tells News13 that 44-year-old Ingrid Collins, of Surfside Beach, was served warrants Saturday in connection to the incident.

The pedestrian, whose name has not been released, remains in critical condition Sunday evening, according to police.

Police responded to the crash Friday evening at 17th Avenue South and South Kings Street, near the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

The pedestrian was hit and police say the driver of the vehicle initially drove away from the scene. One person was detained in connection with the incident later in the night.
