CONWAY, SC (WBTW) – A Conway man is in jail after he reportedly dragged a woman into an abandoned building in Bucksport and raped her, according to a police report.
Horry County police were called to the fire station on Highway 701 where the victim was being treated by first responders. The victim told police that she was walking from a friend’s house on Bucksport Road when the suspect pulled her into an abandoned building and starting hitting her.
Police identified the suspect as 23-year-old Justin Weaver, of Conway. The victim told police that Weaver repeatedly beat her before raping her and taking everything out of her wallet.
Weaver is charged with kidnapping and first-degree criminal sexual conduct. His bond has been set at $50,000.
