A woman accused of killing her Conway grandparents in 2017 made a court appearance on Tuesday in Horry County.
Seth Oskin, the assistant solicitor handling the case, confirmed to News13 that Jordan Hodge had a hearing on Tuesday and mental health evaluation was ordered before the case goes to trial.
Warrants indicated the remains found on Brown Chapel Avenue on July 15, 2017 were that of Linda McAllister and William Clemons, but, coroner Darris Fowler officially released the victims’ identities on July 24, 2017.
Hodge, and Kenneth Wayne Carlisle, both of Aynor, were arrested in July 2017 in reference to the couple’s disappearance.
Warrants from Conway police say Carlisle and Hodge used the victims’ debit card at Walmart and spent over $600 on July 4.
The murder arrest warrants for Carlisle and Hodge say police began looking for the missing couple on July 13, 2017.
Carlisle appeared for a preliminary hearing in August 2017. During the court appearance, a detective on the case went through details of the investigation. He told the court McAllister and Clemons were both shot in the head and were found near a landing in Bucksville.
