Wilson Defeats Hartsville, 97-92 in SCHSL 4A Playoffs

Florence, SC (WBTW) – After their game was postponed on Tuesday night due to a shattered backboard, Wilson and Hartsville got their chance on Wednesday in the 3rd round of the SCHSL boys 4A playoffs.  The game didn’t disappoint, as Wilson earned a 97-92 win in overtime.  After 2 losses to the Red Foxes in the regular season, the Tigers won on the third try and advanced to the 4A Lower State final where they will face rival Darlington.

The game is scheduled for Friday night at 8:30pm from the Florence Center with the winner going to the state finals next weekend in Columbia.

Tigers have won 6 straight games and have gotten hot at the right time.  Hartsville senior and USC commit Trae Hannibal had 62 points in the loss.
