KINGSTREE, SC (WBTW) – Williamsburg County officials say a shelter in Kingstree has been closed due to a rodent problem.
Investigator Alex Edwards with the Williamsburg County Sheriff’s Office confirms that people who were originally staying in a shelter at the Kingstree Senior High gym have been moved to the Kingstree Recreation Center.
Officials say the county was made aware of the problem and evacuated the shelter to ensure people’s safety.
