KINGSTREE (WBTW) — On Monday, Williamsburg County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Hemingway man they say robbed a convenience store in December.
Deputies arrested 21-year-old Marquis Washington and he is charged with armed robbery.
Investigators think Washington went into the South Side Grocery on S.C. Highway 41/51 on December 15, robbed the store with a gun, fired at least one shot, and then ran away.
He is still in jail and awaiting a bond hearing.
