Chapman is a native of Whiteville, NC. His band won the music festival’s annual Battle of the Bands for the Myrtle Beach region.

The whole band attends Catawba College, and the majority of them are music majors. Paez is blind but plays seven other instruments in addition to guitar. Chapman has a rare disease called Achalasia, in which the esophagus muscles don’t work, and it only affects one-in-100,000 people. Chapman has made it one of his primary missions as an artist to raise awareness for this disease.
