COLUMBUS (WCMH) — A new analysis of prices at every Major League Baseball stadium is giving fans an idea where they will strike out and hit a home run with their money.
While you can still get your peanuts and crackerjacks, the finance website GOBankingRates analyzed all 30 MLB stadiums factoring in the prices of:
- Two tickets
- Two hot dogs
- Two beers
- Parking
For most people, $77.92 is the average cost of taking in a game of the national past time, but the cheapest, at $47.60, is Angel Stadium of Anaheim. The most expensive place to watch a ballgame is the home of the Red Sox; Fenway Park, where it costs fans an average of $157 to catch a view of the Green Monster.

For just $1, visitors to The Great American Ballpark can buy a hot dog while watching the Cincinnati Reds play. That’s the cheapest price for a red hot at any stadium. The most expensive dog will set you back $6.25 at a New York Mets game.
The cheapest place to buy a small beer is a tie between the home of the Cleveland Indians, Progressive Field, and the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Chase Field. Both stadiums sell the suds for $4. The Cubs, the Phillies and the Red Sox all tie for the most expensive beer at $7.75 for a small.
Overall, if you want to catch a game on a steal, your best bets are going to be the Anaheim Angels, the Los Angeles Dodgers or the Arizona Diamondbacks.
If money is no object, a Red Sox, Cubs, or a Yankees’ game will be the ones to set you back at the old ball game.
