FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW)- Crews with the West Florence Fire Department responded to Tennyson Drive in the Vintage Place subdivision for a reported structure fire Sunday afternoon.
20 West Florence firefighters along with two engines, one tanker truck, one rescue truck and one ladder truck responded to find a two-story residence with smoke showing on arrival.
Firefighters found a fire in the kitchen and ensured that the fire was fully extinguished. Crews say the damage was limited to the stove and cabinet area with some smoke damage in areas adjacent to the kitchen.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The future West Florence Fire Department station number four located on the Hoffmeyer Road will service the vintage Place subdivision with both fire and medical first response once it opens later this summer.
