FLORENCE, S.C. (WBTW)- The West Florence Fire Department responded to a fire at the Pee Dee Gardens Retirement Home on West Palmetto Drive.
Captain Anthony Fox says crews responded around 7:15 Monday night.
When firefighters arrived, they found one wing with smoke it in, and a fire inside the walls behind a dryer.
Staff members evacuated the residents, while firefighters put out the fire.
Captain Fox says the damage was limited to one room.
There were no reported injuries.
