HORRY COUNTY – (WBTW) – 9:45 UPDATE: Santee Cooper is reporting about 10 homes without power and Horry Electric is reporting 33 homes still without power.
Over 4,000 Santee Cooper and Horry Electric customers are without power Wednesday evening after lightning storms in Horry County.
As of 6:00 p.m., according to Horry Electric website, they are reporting around around 3,300 customers without power and Santee Cooper’s website is reporting almost 1,000 homes without power.
Santee Cooper’s website reports they expect power to be restored just before 9 p.m. Horry Electric’s website does not say when they expect power to come back on.
