MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WBTW) – Grand Strand Water and Sewer officials say that a water main break happened Thursday when an electrical contractor broke a water line off of 544 near the Bob Evans.
Crews have isolated the break and are currently digging to get to the water line and inspect the damage.
Grand Strand Water and Sewer believes that only the businesses along Highway 17 and Highway 544 in that area are affected and no homes are without water.
Officials say that it could take another three hours to complete.
