WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) — The top teachers in the nation visited Washington this week for a ceremony honoring the national and state teachers of the year.
President Trump met with the teachers earlier this week in the Oval Office. The honorees also had the chance to meet with Vice President Mike Pence and Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos. The group participated in a panel discussion with education department officials.
