Help Florence Flourish and House of Hope are planning to provide “overflow” accommodations overnight on Jan 6,7 and 8, due to expected cold and inclement weather in the area.

The “overflow” refers to clients exceeding the capacity of the new Courtney Graham Community Shelter located on Church Street in the city.

The plan calls for checking on those in need of shelter at the Graham Community Shelter and then transporting any overflow to other sites for overnight housing accommodations.

Due to below freezing temperatures predicted for this weekend, the City of Conway will open a Warming Shelter on Saturday, January 7th, Sunday, January 8th, and Monday, January 9th, 2017.  The shelter will open at 6 pm and close at 8 am.  If there are no occupants by 10 pm, the shelter will close.  Cots, blankets and pillows will be available, along with snacks and beverages.  Pets are not allowed.CONWAY
