WOODRUFF, SC – Thomas Richard Cannon, a volunteer at the Woodruff soup kitchen, was arrested Tuesday after “using his position to push drugs on the less fortunate,” said Woodruff Police Department.
Police say Cannon was working at the soup kitchen and sold meth to one of their undercover operatives during a drug sting.
Cannon is currently at the Spartanburg County Jail.
Police say he’s facing a charge of Distributing Methamphetamine and Distributing Methamphetamine within a half mile of a church or school.
